Janie S. Mershon, Esquire
Janie's practice focuses on family law, real estate, estate planning and related litigation.
Her prior experience includes working as a volunteer attorney for The Support Center for Child Advocates in the city of Philadelphia. As a volunteer attorney, Janie represented children in civil and criminal matters, including custody, adoption and abuse. In addition, she has worked as an intern in the Chester County District Attorney's office and in the Chester County Public Defender's office through The Widener Criminal Defense Clinic. Janie also completed an internship with the Honorable Katherine B. L. Platt, Judge of the Chester County Court of Common Pleas. Janie brings extensive experience in the business world having previously worked for a Fortune 500 company.
Community Involvement:
- Serves on the Board of Directors of The Support Center for Child Advocates
- Member of the Drexel Parents Leadership Council, under the direction of University President, Dr. John Fry.
